This policy applies to purchases made on DeplorableDolls.com. Most items are produced just in time and treated as custom. All sales are final except as described below. We do not offer refunds. Approved remedies are repair or replacement only, except where required by law.

Overview

  • Made to order, custom items are not returnable for size issues, preference, or change of mind.
  • We will remedy issues that are our fault, manufacturing defects or if we shipped the wrong product, variant, or size, or shipments that arrive damaged.
  • A Return Authorization is required for any return. Items sent without an RA will be refused.

Apparel specific guidelines

  • Apparel is custom printed for you. Please use the size guide on the product page before ordering.
  • We do not accept returns for the wrong size selected or change of mind.
  • Apparel is eligible for repair or replacement only if there is a manufacturer defect, print error, or damaged shipment.
  • You must contact us within 10 days from delivery for eligibility.

What is eligible

We will repair or replace, at our discretion, if within 10 days of delivery you report:

  • A manufacturing defect or print error
  • The wrong product, variant, or size was shipped compared to your order confirmation
  • The item arrived damaged in transit

Minor variations consistent with handmade production, such as slight differences in stitching, color, or placement, are not considered defects.

What is not eligible

  • Wrong size selected by the customer
  • Change of mind or no longer wanted
  • Wear and tear, misuse, or damage after delivery
  • Packages refused at delivery or unclaimed

How to request help and obtain an RA

Contact us within 10 days of delivery:

  • Email: info@deplorabledolls.com
  • Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos that show the defect, print error, damage, or the incorrect item received

If your request is approved, we will issue a Return Authorization number and return instructions.

Preparing your return

  • No product can be returned without an RA number
  • Include the original shipping invoice and write the reason for exchange on the back of the invoice
  • Write the RA number on the outside of the box and include it inside the package
  • Ship the item using any trackable carrier to the address provided in your RA email
  • Ship within 14 days of RA issuance
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and include all components, tags, accessories, and packaging

Shipping and handling fees

  • Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is the result of a DeplorableDolls error
  • Original shipping and handling charges are not refunded or credited
  • Returns sent collect or COD will be refused

Inspection and remedy

  • Allow 3 to 5 business days after delivery to our facility for inspection
  • If approved, we will repair and return the item or replace it with the same item. If the same item is not available, we will offer a comparable replacement or store credit. We do not provide refunds except where required by law
  • If the return does not meet eligibility or condition requirements, the item will be returned to you

Preorders and crowdfunding

Preorders and crowdfunding pledges, including Kickstarter, are final and not refundable. If a delivered preorder item has a confirmed defect or was fulfilled incorrectly, we will repair or replace it as described above.

Order cancellations

Because items are produced just in time, orders cannot be canceled once placed. If you believe you made an error, contact us within 1 hour of purchase and we will try to assist if production has not started. This is not guaranteed.

Chargebacks and payment disputes

Please contact us first. Most issues are resolved quickly under this policy. If you initiate a chargeback, we will submit evidence including your order confirmation, the policy presented at checkout and on our website, fulfillment records, tracking and delivery confirmation, and our correspondence. While a dispute is pending, your account may be placed on hold and future orders may be paused.

International orders

Duties, taxes, and brokerage fees are not refundable. For approved returns, international return shipping and any import fees are the customer’s responsibility unless the return is the result of a DeplorableDolls error or required otherwise by law.

Policy updates

We may update this policy from time to time. The version posted on DeplorableDolls.com at the time of your purchase applies to that order.
